100 Amazing Things we Dont Notice

Our world is filled with billions of amazing things; and no I don't mean things such as the 7 World Wonders, although they are magnificent! I'm talking about the things you see when you walk outside in the morning, the things you pass by walking to school/bus stop. I'm talking about the little things in our life that we don't notice enough to be able to truly appreciate and bask in the glory of! But it would be to easy to give you the entire list right now, wouldn't it!? So this blog shall be broken down into 10 part's with new posts everyday!
So this is my list of '100 Amazing Things we Don't Notice'!

1. 'The magical clicking sound when you finally understand something'
Remember when you were little and you heard that 'click' in your head when you discovered your colouring book would look so much prettier if you actually coloured in the lines? Or when your sitting across the classroom from the person you like; and they smile at you and the fact that they might like you to just 'clicks'? Yes that clicking sound! Almost an indescribable feeling; that can only be known when you experience the 'click'.

2. 'The Smell of freshly mowed grass'
Sweet and sugary; there is something about the way the air smells just after you've(or your parents) have mowed it; that stops anything else from entering your mind except for that gorgeous fresh scent!

3. 'The Warmth of the Pizza Box on your Lap in the Car'
Picture this; your starving, and the pizza shop has finally hurried up and made you your delicious pizza order that you know in no time will be filling you up inside with warmth. But first you have to get home right? Your sitting in the car with the pizza box and before you know it the warmth of the pizza is spreading throughout your body; making it hard for you to concentrate on anything other than devouring that sensational pizza; that's just sitting right there, on your lap!

4. 'The Feeling of Weightlessness Underwater'
Remember the last time when you went swimming? And it was as if it was just you and the water; you weren't held down as you seem to be walking around? That feeling of weightlessness is something everybody should treasure; as its a pleasure when you feel almost invincible, that nothing is impossible because your weightless!

5. 'Tearing of the Wrapping Paper'
If you like me; your the type of person who finds joy in tearing of the wrapping paper at the speed of light just so you can see your present underneath! Its true you can slowly peal away the sticky tape taking care not to cause a rip, but where's the fun in that!? I say tear away present openers!

6. 'The Smell of Play-doh'
Almost everyone has had their fair share of play-doh experiences; getting the colours mixed up under your fingernails; joining all the colours to make a big ball of brown-black-purply-green mixture. Remember the sharp saltiness of that failed taste test? Remember the smell of the play-doh cooking on the stove while your mum told you, It will be ready soon? What colours do you want? and you would jump for joy? That's the smell of play-doh(and my childhood)!

7. 'The Booth Side of the Table at the Restaurant'
Sure we would all glady except the hard-backed word chair if someone wanted the booth wouldn't we? But there's something amazingly comfortable about sitting in the secluded booth with the heavenly comfort of the padded seat's holding you!

8. 'A Shower After a Plane Trip'
Your off the plane with your hair sticking up at all ends, your clothes are scrunched and your shoes feel to small for your feet. You suffer through the car ride home and the lugging of your suitcase up the stairs to your bedroom. You hot, your sweaty, your tired and then finally you reach the shower. The brilliance of a freezing cold shower as the water pelts against your skin refreshes and awakes you; leaving you refreshed and ready to unpack your suitcase.....maybe

9. 'Breaking the Seal on a New Tub of Peanut Butter'
Peanut butter is one of life's simple joys; but whats better than eating? I'll tell you; breaking the seal of the round jar with the scent of creamy peanut butter fills your nose and you see the gorgeous brown deliciousness that is the peanut butter staring up at you! Now I'm hungry........

10. 'Receiving Hand Written Letters in the Mail'
Theres nothing like an old school hand written letter in the mail to brighten your day. Theres something that makes reserving a hand written letter much more personal and influential than a robotic email typed without any personally attachments or influence!

  1. I hate ripping wrapping paper :) Presents are a pain to wrap and I feel as if I am respecting the wrapping if I open it s..l..o...w...l....y.

However I do love hand written letters in the mail.
