100 Amazing Things We Don't Notice- Part 3

21. 'Naps'
When I was little I used to nap until I was at least 6, at that age until the age of about 14 I hated(and I mean hated with a passion I could only call religious!) taking naps! Now that I'm older I relish the thought of getting home from school and slipping into a comforting nap!

22. 'When your Brother/Sister Offer to Make You Lunch
I am one of those lucky teenagers with an overly kind brother; and one of the best things about him? He offers whenever were home to make me lunch! The other day I was studying like crazy for a school test and my brother offered to make me lunch; of course I accepted(thinking a plain peanut butter sandwich would be what I got!) I couldn't have been more wrong! He came in with a Milo, a toasted ham and cheese sandwich and a chocolate! The best feeling in the world!

23. 'Finding the Perfect Apple'
Your at the shop after a long day, and your mum tells you to get some apples....you grudgingly walk to the apple section when you are amazed! There is sitting the perfect apple; glistening with moistness doused in a brilliant red-granted to rival that of Snow White! The apple itself is not what causes the happiness it is the act of finding perfection no matter how small!

24. 'When You Forget Your Halloween Candy and Your House Doesn't Get Egged'
When I was younger; our family forgot to get candy(living Australia) we really didn't think that it matter that much....how wrong we were! Whenever children came to house we had to shake our heads and tell them we had forgotten and watch as they walked angrily away! The next morning we walked outside to found that our house(more specifically our car) had been egged! Ever since then we made sure to by candy........until a year ago....
We hesitantly opened the door and told all those who came to our house we didn't have any candy! Before we went to bed that night we went outside and YES! We were free! I will never forget the happiness and relief at that moment!

25. 'The smell of fresh baked bread'
Until recently my family had been the type that lived of the bread from the supermarket(which in Timor is similar to that of the sweetness of Asian bread), and we ate it with everything! Even savoury sandwich's! Then my father had an epiphany! Bake the bread! And he did; so now I have come to relish the small of freshly baked bread as it wafts down the hallway to my bedroom!

26. 'The Feeling of Dry Clothes After You've Been in the Pool for to Long'
You know that when your fingers and feet start going pruned that its time to bail from the pool and settle for some nice crisp dry clothes! And when you get those clothes there is nothing quite as unique as the feeling of dry/warm clothes on freshly dried skin!

27. 'When you see something move in a Rock Pool'
In many countries rock-pools resemble that of a black-scary-hole filled with murky gray water! But I remember when I was little(and of course-living in Sydney) rock pools were a source of constant entertainment! Never knowing what was going to be lingering their water! A starfish? A little fish? Mushy green seaweed? There is nothing quite like staring into the water and gasping as a colourful fish catches your attention.

28. 'Picking The Right Lane at the Shopping Centre'
You peak your head around the growing lane and groaning in utter frustration! Theres at least five people in front of you with shopping trolleys so full it must be illegal! Would you like to come to the next counter? you hear a woman ask you from your left! You let out a sigh of happiness as you move to the new line with the new(un-grumpy cashier), and your out in no time!

29. 'Bagging the Front Seat'
Need I say more? When you bags the front seat; you are officially the queen of the car!(And in my family you get control over the music!)

30. 'Getting Along With The Next Door Neighbour'
You've moved into your new house and your praying that the next door neighbours aren't the type to blast music from their house at 2:30 in the morning. Or the type that will let snakes and other infestation take hold of the garden! And whats worse- that they will be 'disagreeable'! The pleasant surprise of finding that the next door neighbours are actually kind polite people who wont disrupt you but wont ignore you either!
